At start of day: SIGN-IN by touching these on-screen keys:

1. Enter Dish Items. As an example, you will specify two items from our sample database:
(i) Touch the category 'Beef'.
(ii) Touch the menu item 'Broiled Beef'.
(iii) Touch the on-screen button [Back] twice to go back to the list of categories.
(iv) Touch the category 'Breakfast Goodies'.
(v) Touch the menu item 'Bacon & Eggs'.
2. You will now go to the check editor to cash out the menu items you've registered into the system:
(i) Touch the on-screen button [Total]
(ii) Touch the on-screen button [Enter].
(iii) Touch the on-screen button [Ok] to confirm.
(iv) Touch the on-screen button [Enter] to accept the change.
(v) Touch the on-screen button [Ok] to confirm the change.
3. New Order.
(i) Touch the on-screen button [New].

3. Enter Dish Items. As an example, you will specify two items from our sample database:
(i) Touch the category 'Beef'.
(ii) Touch the menu item 'Broiled Beef'.
(iii) Touch the on-screen button [Back] twice to go back to the list of categories.
(iv) Touch the category 'Breakfast Goodies'.

4. Send All Dishes to kitchen.

(i) Touch the category 'Beef'.
(ii) Touch the menu item 'Broiled Beef'.
(iii) Touch the on-screen button [Back] twice to go back to the list of categories.
(iv) Touch the category 'Breakfast Goodies'.
(v) Touch the menu item 'Bacon & Eggs'.
5. Send All Dishes to kitchen.
(i) Touch the on-screen button [Send].
6. Cash Out. You will now go to the check editor to cash out the menu items you've registered into the system:

- Touch the on-screen button [Global Order Status].
- Touch the server: [Take Out].
- Touch the on-screen button [Open]. (Verify that the highlight is on 'Server: Take Out')
- Touch the order for 'JOHN DOE'.
- Touch the on-screen button [Settle].
Anytime you are ready to CLOSE an open order, just go back to STEP 1 of the closing procedure!

(iii) Touch the on-screen button [Back] twice to go back to the list of categories.

5. Send All Dishes to kitchen.

- Touch the server: [Delivery].
- Touch the on-screen button [Open].
- Touch the order for 'JOHN DOE'.
- Touch the on-screen button [Driver] to assign a driver to this delivery order.
- Touch the sample driver.
Anytime you are ready to deliver another order, just go back to STEP 1!
Note: The server assignment can be eliminated by setting "Assign Delivery Driver Server" to "No" using the Setup program (full version only). Also note: With the multi-user system, you can separate the order taking procedure (operator) from the driver assignment procedure (front desk).
