Our New
Lower Cost Touchscreen or LightPen hrPOS Is Now Available This intuitive and powerful
foodservice software with direct
touch-and-select user interface is
designed to provide the easiest and
organized ways to manage your restaurant
operations from order taking, kitchen
printing, fastfood, cash bar,
takeout/delivery, and all the ways to
backoffice functions such as sales
analysis and inventory controls.
Like all iPOS software,
the new hrPOS software is designed to
minimize your hardware and software
resource requirements thus lowering your
capital investment. All hrPOS software
run on the server PC and interact with
the users through the thin-client network
stations with touchscreen or light-pen
monitors. The thin-client station can
just be a 286 PC with 400K of RAM memory
networked to the server PC by Ethernet
link. It does not require any heavy
network operating system but just the
NETBIOS, touchscreen or light-pen
drivers, plus our DOS network terminal
software- NetTerm. Of course, there are
many embeded 486 touchscreen LCD network
terminals available on the market at the
price of a notebook PC. All of them
together, you get a high-performance,
low-cost, reliable and easily manageable
foodservice Point-of-Sale system.
